The Cho-Pat Upper Arm Strap is a compression device designed to support upper arm muscles that are over-exercised or strained during athletic, leisure, or work activities. Due to the Dynamic Pain Diffusion technology, the upper arm strap absorbs and dispenses the forces that cause pain, relieves stress on the upper arm muscles and their attachments, and reduces inflammation. The upper arm strap is worn just above the bicep or tricep and uses compression to prevent the pulling and tearing of tendon fibers.
The waterproof upper arm strap was specifically designed to prevent painful swimmer’s arm, but can also be worn in water and other sports activities where there is a possibility of developing bicipital or tricipital tendonitis. The Cho-Pat Upper Arm Strap is very effective in supporting the upper arm when performing actions that require repetitive use of the muscles and tendons in the elbow.
The Cho-Pat Upper Arm Strap is recommended for swimmers and other sports enthusiasts who may develop painful swimmer’s arm, bicipital tendonitis, or tricipital tendonitis. Swimmer’s arm is an overuse injury that can be caused not only by swimming but by other activities where the elbow performs the same motion repeatedly. Swimming strokes like the breast stroke or butterfly can cause swimmer’s arm because of the “elbow-up” pull that is used during these strokes. Other possible causes of swimmer’s arm can include weight lifting and the manual labor activities required while working construction jobs.

Measurement
The Cho-Pat Upper Arm Strap is available in four sizes for a more accurate fit and targeted pain relief from swimmer’s arm. When sizing, it is best to measure the circumference of the arm above the bicep. If between sizes, it is suggested that you order the smaller sized upper arm strap.
